Reviewed By: Lee (E.Bridgewater, MA) We purchased this product at least 5 years ago. They were little sprigs with roots. I planted just as directed on a northern facing-well drained/dry area of my yard. The plant took about two -three years but is completely filled in and choked out all the weeds and grass! It is a beautiful burgundy all winter and is easy to maintain the length. Just chop it off with a weed wacker! I love it and I have taken the shoots to transplant to other difficult areas of my yard! - Sunday, April 27, 2008Best groundcover !! Reviewed By: Stephen J Summers (Holly, Michigan) Over eight years ago I planted 16 sprigs and have had great success with cutting transplants by simply putting in the ground. This stuff grows like a weed and does the job !!! - Thursday, October 09, 2008Good cover Reviewed By: Bob (Rockwood, Tn) Have had good results with this cover in full shade, slow to get started but took off after a couple of years, it has been dry! Just reordered and intend to water this time! - Sunday, June 03, 2007won't grow Reviewed By: Wood (Floyd, Virginia) We purchased 16 wintercreeper vines in the spring of 1998 and they haven't grown at all in 9 years! In fact, most of them aren't as big now as they were when we planted them! We put them on a bank in partial sun in fertile humus-rich soil. - Thursday, August 23, 2007Rabbit food Reviewed By: Winona (Rogersville, Mo) You failed to mention that rabbits love purple wintercreeper. |
