Reviewed By: Kathy (Los Alamos, New Mexico) When I got the plant, it was puny, just a two pronged stick with roots. Now it is a foot and a half high and wide! No transplant shock whatsoever, since the plant was so small. It's growing great and I'm hoping for berries this season. - Friday, May 11, 2007PRETTY GOOD LOOKING PLANTS Reviewed By: Gary Toomey (Athens, Al) Plants traveled well, good root system and plenty wet. Set them out today and we'll let you know how they do. Only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars is on plant was colored a purple brown, but if it lives I might want them all that color. Time will tell. Everything lo0oks really promising. - Thursday, April 10, 2008Wow! Reviewed By: CMR (Kent, Ohio) I couldn't believe it when I opened the box and there were flowers on the plant. It's 6" tall. Doesn't have much in the way of leaves, and they are purple-tinged on the outside (what few leaves it has look very healthy). It has over 3 dozen flowers and I only received it a week ago! I know that you're supposed to remove the flowers the first couple of years for the long term health/yields of blueberries to go up, but that's tough to make myself do. Was very surprised by the flowers. Arrived plenty moist, packaged with the TopHat Patio Blueberry I also purchased. - Friday, May 09, 2008Excellent plants Reviewed By: Brent (Marshall, IL) I got the plants in early april. It was just roots with two branches and a few blooms more or less. I was skeptical whether it would survive. I planted it and trimmed the blooms off and now a month later it is growing like crazy. Can't wait till it starts producing but will be a while still has alot of growing to do but definately worth the cost and time. - Sunday, May 17, 2009Excellent plants Reviewed By: Barbara Kane (Sugar Grove, PA) Strong plants--arrived as sticks but they started leafing out right after I planted them. It's been less than a month & there are a few blossoms. I can't wait until I have blueberries next year! |
