Product review for Heritage Raspberries Overall Rating: ![]() Write an online review and share your thoughts with other customers Sort Reviews: Newest | Oldest | Highest Rating | Lowest Rating :: Viewing page 1 of 2 - Saturday, October 03, 2009They just won't stop Reviewed By: M (Mason, Michigan) I planted 6 Heritage Raspberry plants in spring 2008. The first season yield was small but tasty, but this year was incredible. They just won't stop! I have picked a quart every other day for 2 months now and, today I picked 3 quarts. I have maintained them with a hefty mulch of rich compost and organic, natural controls for the Japanese Beetles, that unfortunately love them as much as I do. When I think about what I would have had to pay for organic raspberries in the grocery store, these have paid for themselves 10x over! - Wednesday, January 07, 2009grandchildren love them Reviewed By: Annie (Oklahoma city, OK) I bought the Raspberry plants last spring. and I think they are the best. had some in the fall. the grand children always loved to go and eat them in the garden. I am ready to plant more this year. so I can get some too. haha - Friday, October 31, 2008Kids love them Reviewed By: Mike (Statham, Georgia ) Planted 3 plants this spring, they produced a few berries late spring and more in the fall. I have a 2 boys 5 and 2 years old. They love them they will look to see if some are ripe every time they go outside and the 2 year old keeps saying "I want more!!" So I'm back to order more plants. Great tasting !! - Monday, November 26, 2007Excellent First Year Reviewed By: Mary Dumond (Frenchville, ME) Planted right away, and before fall started producing some berries the first year. If this keeps up by next year will have a nice crop. Very happy with this brand, can't beat two crops a year. - Wednesday, July 04, 2007Success Reviewed By: Paul (Iowa City, IA) I purchased a Heritage raspberry cane from another nursery, but when I opened the package the “dormant” cane looked more like a dead stick. I planted the "dormant" cane, but it still looks like a dead stick nearly two months later. In contrast, the three dormant canes I purchased from Gurneys arrived in good shape, and I had green leaves and blooms in no time. I am looking forward to the berries. |
