Fast growin just don't be afraid to cut back for a lot fuller wind break. Plant them in a row then 3 to 5 years later plant another row, cuz they do die in 10 to 15 year. Replant So you will always have a nice wind break or privacy fence to enjoy for years to come in your life time.

I purchased 5 this past spring. They seemed iffy, but much to my surprise are doing very well. Our dog busted one clear to the ground and the tree came back better than before.

We plant them for wind break between two sandy soiled corn fields. They are doing Wonderful inspite of the harsh ground conditions and Nebraska winds here.

Purchased 10 of these last spring. They were about 3 feet. They are now over 6 feet and doing well. Great tree, just do as the instructions say and they grow well. Plan on ordering 10 more this year.
