Plant them in a row then 3 to 5 years later plant another row, cuz they do die in 10 to 15 year. I recieved my poplar from HF they look excellent out of the package anywhere from 3-4 feet high. They seemed iffy, but much to my surprise are doing very well. They were about 3 feet. They are now over 6 feet and doing well. Great tree, just do as the instructions say and they grow well. Plan on ordering 10 more this year.
