Unfortunately, have not seen it bloom. It looks like it's diseased with wrinkled leaves. Very leggy branches. Not real happy with it. - Saturday, May 15, 2010impressed Reviewed By: Ray (Tucumcari, NM) Bought one tree 2 years ago and it has grown about 3 feet first year, just leaves. Bought 2 more this year and in 2 months already have a lot of leaves, hope the first one flowers this year, shows signs of it now. We have very bad soil and a lot of rocks, but I water on drip system all year long. - Sunday, May 09, 2010pink smoke tree Reviewed By: Pam Hampton (Meadview, Arizona) I bought 3 Smoke trees back in 2008 I believe. I planted them asap as they were bareroot. I planted them together in a line. Am sad to say only 1 survived. They did ok in 2008/2009 losing one in late 2008; then the next one died in 2009. I thought I'd lost the last one after I left the water dripping system was left on to the tune of over $300.00 for a water bill! Well it's 2010 and watered it for the first time this year and just kind of ignored it. Yesterday I was clearing out the water rings and low and behold! It is in full bloom and is thick with little purple flowers. I'm now going to buy 2 more and dround them also. Wish me luck! Read More Reviews |
