Comments: Cool season crop. Plant in the spring and in the fall during cool temps. Work in a 10-10-10 fertilizer prior to planting. Frequent, shallow cultivation is best. Harvest when plants reach 15-18 inches (or before) since they bolt rapidly. Snap off leaves, don't pull, just before they mature. Deep cutting back so that the plants won't flower, otherwise, the leaves will be tough and bitter. Storage is not recommended for mustard greens.
