Double flowers of the Moss Rose Portulaca are red, pink, yellow, orange and white. 5 in. tall. Direct sow after last frost or start indoors before last frost. Blooms from summer to early fall.

Approx. 100 seeds per pkt.

I have been a fan of moss rose for over fifty years (gulp!). The multi-colored flowers in my garden have been always a show stopper. This year I planted Gurney's seed. WOW! The flowers are simply beautiful.

Even in planters these babies come back year after year. I live in zone 5 and have not had to buy new moss roses for the last six years! I thought they didn't make it through our rough winter, but they're coming up profusely! Unfortunately I thought they were gone so I planted some impatiens in the planters, Now I have to move those someplace else. Not a bad problem to have.
