Springtime brings huge, exquisite blooms of glowing orange with a delicate fragrance. Rounded, 7-ft. shrub is extra hardy; bred to survive rough winters. Prefers full sun to part shade. Potted. Zones 4-8.

Depth: Plant at the same depth it is in the pot. Avoid windy areas and south facing walls where reflective heat and light could be too intense and damaging.

Color: Golden Yellow flowers
Foliage: Dark green in summer followed by variable red fall color. Deciduous in winter.
Blooms: Late spring to early summer for about 2-3 weeks
Comments: Hardy Azalea bred for Northern areas, developed for bud hardiness in Minnesota to survive rough winters and has successfully proven to be hardy. Branches are covered with large yellow bloom trusses each spring that exhibit a light fragrance. Somewhat rounded growth habit.

Just lovely!

This azalea is georgeous and smells beautiful. Great to place beneath a window where you can enjoy it's fragrence. It is a relative slow grower so you can keep it in bounds by snapping off the candles (which are the blooms for the following year).
