Near-Fluorescent Flowers
(3 customer reviews)Super-sized 4-6 in. blooms in a pale lemon color. Sets plenty of seeds, too—sure to be appreciated by your feathered friends! Reaches a height of 5 ft. 100 DAYS. It’s no wonder sunflowers are so easy to grow- these magnificent flowers are American natives. Use smaller types for cutting and edging, taller ones fro screens. At the end of the season, watch for goldfinches, who love the seed! Product Details

Reviewed By: Jeff (Sykesville, Maryland) Wow, these Lemon Queens are great!! The row I planted in full sun has grown to an impressive height of 9 feet. Not only are they almost double the advertised height, they are loaded with 30-40 beautiful 5-7 inch flowers. The bees love them and are happy to help pollinate the rest of the garden. I can't wait to see the variety of birds they bring to the garden. A must have! - Sunday, February 15, 2009beautiful blooms Reviewed By: Jennifer (Denver, CO) I bought these on a whim. They were easy to grow in poor soil, and grew to a height of about 7-8 feet. They seemed to bloom forever and there were a LOT of blooms. They were my favorite blooms of the year, and I plan on planting them again this year. - Tuesday, November 03, 2009Best blooms! Reviewed By: Arcticgrower (Anchorage, Alaska) These did the best for me in my climate, Alaska. I will definately purchase this seed variety again...the bees loved it, and it grew very tall, each plant providing many blooms. The light yellow petals contrasted with its dark center, creating a stunning appearance. Read More Reviews |
