This is the first time I've ordered starts from Gurney's. I ordered three varieties of asparagus starts, all 2nd year or jumbo grades. I must say, I'm most impressed. The quality of the starts I received is excellent. Each one is large and plump and fresh-appearing. They were carefully packaged. Planted and cared for properly, I believe every single one of them will be up and growing very, very soon!!! Wow! I'll be a repeat customer for sure!

Six days ago I received my order of 20 Jersey Supreme Giant grade crowns. I had prepared my asparagus bed and was ready for them to arrive. Within 2 hours I had them set in place and watered in. Again, that was six days ago, today all of the crowns have spikes, some of them eight inches high. Needless to say I am amazed and will be writing another review in the future.
