Tried oregon spring, cold set, early girl, and a lot of other varieties, but this puts out more fruit, better flavor and more vigor than any other I've tried.. I'm at 5000', with a 90 day growing season in alkaline sandy loam soil. I start my plants indoors, moving them out around June 1. The original seed keeps well for several seasons under co2 gas in a closed jar. Too bad Gurneys won't sell the seed in quantity anymore, but only in teensy packets. Read More Reviews |
