![]() Heritage RaspberryThrives almost anywhere!
(9 customer reviews)Heritage Raspberry will produce a continuous harvest of big bright juicy red berries. A modest crop will arrive in mid summer, and then a heavy crop lasting from August till frost. The one year old canes will arrive ready for planting – they are excellent for the home grower. They will thrive in most soil types, and are hardy in very cold climates. Easy to maintain – simply mow the canes after frost and they’ll grow back next year to bear extra-sweet juicy fruit. Resistant or tolerant to most, if not all, major raspberry diseases and self-pollinating. Hardy canes don’t need staking. Enjoy tasty fresh raspberries from the garden, as well as canned or frozen. Bareroot. This item ships only in the spring. If our spring shipping season is closed, your order will be shipped the following spring. Product Details

I got 6 plants, and I get a couple raspberries everyday. They are delicious and wonderfully easy to grow! - Thursday, May 26, 2011Great berrys Reviewed By: Chadd (Erie, PA) My Heritage Raspberry plant produced big juicy red berries the first year. Now in the second year they are growing crazy fast. My kids can't wait until they can start eating more delicious berries. - Thursday, November 01, 2007Very Berry Reviewed By: Arlene Lister (Ranger, TX) Everyone has told me I couldn't grow raspberries in TX. Too hot a climate. First year was a drought, horrible drought nearly everything died or suffered greatly even with watering. However, the berries I bought didn't die! Neither did the strawberries I bought. In fact they did suffer a bit with the very hot weather and drought ed conditions, but they made it through to this year with very small loss. Second year, I have never seen berries as vibrant as these even in Michigan where I came from. I am still getting raspberries to eat and it's Nov 1!! I can't believe it at all! The berries grew like gangbusters this year and have completely surprised me with the vigor in which they still continue to grow. Even with the cold weather during the winter my raspberries remained green and grew. But this year I have gotten berries from May and beyond. I am so excited to see what year three will bring! And I couldn't grow them here in hot ol TX! Friends and relatives have enjoyed the abundant berries and stories of how successful they are growing for me. I thank Gurney's for the successful plants they sent me, and I am sure without a doubt no one else out there would have been so wonderful when it came to replacing the stalks that did die on me due to drought and the conditions there of.
