Compact 2- to 3-ft. tall broadleaf evergreen shrub is covered with vivid crimson, trumpet-shaped blooms each spring. Shining, dark green foliage turns bronze red in late fall. Prefers full to partially shaded location.

This was my first purchase from Gueney's and the first time I ordered plants on the internet. I wasn't sure what to expect - I envisioned one scrawny shoot with a small root. I was very surprised when they arrived. The azaleas were well established in pots and very healthy looking. I put them in the ground immediately and will without that fifth star until I see them in the spring. I will definitely order from Gurney's again.
