I had excellent luck with the Green Ice lettuce this year. Had a huge crop, had to give some away to friends. Makes a great salad with Vital green spinach. Goes great together.

Late summer germination

Of the 4 leaf types we planted for our fall garden, this is the only one we had problems with...low germination and survival rate compared with the others. We had some heat during the germination period...this one is evidently most effected by the higher temps...

This is our favorite leaf lettuce. My wife doesn't like most leaf lettuce but loves Green Ice. You won't be disapointed.
