Neat 12- to 15-in. mounds of yellow-edged scarlet flowers. Framed by grayish-green foliage. Adaptable, easy to grow, attracts butterflies. Full sun. Bareroot. Zones 3-9.

Like many Gurney plants, this took a year to establish. It now blooms continuously during the summer under very unfavorable conditions. Great for the front of a colorful bed.

the very first year the Goblin Blanket flowers made me look like an expert gardener! They made lots of blooms and stayed through the fall.

What a suprise.....

I ordered Blanket flower an year ago last May and was not really happy with the foliage growth or bloom but that changed completely this year. Along with Coreopsis that I ordered at the same time, these two plants really look fantastic together and have supplied my garden a real blast of color for most of the growing season.
