When we bought our first house, lo and behold guess what popped up in the backyard! Pros: The flowers are unique & beautiful with many flowers per plant. The leaves are also a very pretty shape & color. They are very resistant to EVERYTHING. They transplant beautifully. If there is even a tiny portion of root in the ground it will take & you will have a lovely plant. Cons: They do not flower all season. They will take over if allowed. - Tuesday, May 22, 2007Disappointed Reviewed By: Bret (Aurora, CO) I was very disappointed with the Columbine I received. I did not receive the product until late May. When the ad says bareroot they mean nothing more than a very small piece of root. I could have bought a full grown plant locally for the same price. I guess I wait and see what this piece of root does before the end of summer. Read More Reviews |
