German Giant Parat Radishes never gets too hot or fibrous. Ready at marble size, but sweet and mild at any size. Approx. 250 seeds per packet. 29 DAYS.

Fast-growing radishes often are the first ready to harvest crop of the season. So easy- even children can plant and care for them!

Tip: Sow a few seeds with slow-sprouting carrots to mark the rows so you know where to weed. Plant anytime from August to October 15 for a fall harvest. (Zone 6- planting dates will vary by zones).

Seed Counts: 1 ounce contains about 2,700 seeds; sows a 100-ft. row.

The package says they could get as big as a basball.I did have a few that big.Not hollow like I thought it would be.Solid all the way thru. Very, very nice radish.

My auntie who lives in Bellevue,IA introduced me to German Radishes 5 years ago they are the best ever. I ordered seeds the first year I moved here to Oshkosh,WI and every one who tried these radishes out at my mother in laws just loved them. Don't ever give the up.

This is the first year we have grown the German Giant Radish. They are the most mild and meaty radish we have ever grown. Even at "golf-ball" size, they are still excellent flavoured and are not fiberous like those we have grown before! This is a "keeper" for future years plantings.
