Dependable producer of smooth, butter yellow squash of excellent quality. The Gentry Hybrid Summer Squash performs well even under stressful conditions. Semi-crookneck fruits are 5-6 in. long. 44 DAYS.

No matter how small your garden, you can grow squash. Compacts varieties are available for both winter and summer types, and often just two or three plants will yield enough fruits for a small family.

Comments: 5.5 to 6 inches in length x 1.5 to 1.75 in diameter. No claim to any diseases, resistant or tolerances. Semi-crookneck summer squash that has consistently produced outstanding yields of butter yellow, smooth skinned fruit with small blossom scars. Even under high temperatures, yields have been high for this hybrid. Its vigorous bush has fewer spines then other comparable varieties. Outstanding smoothness even under stress. Good performance under high temperatures. Excellent fruit quality.

Gentry hybrid squash ROCKS!

I grew this squash last year and it was AWESOME! They were nice and plump and so tasty! I was told that they were "the most beautiful squash ever seen" by several people. Everyone loved them!

Great Choice

We tried these this summer (2007). In the mornings we were given a beautiful view - a row full of open, bright yellow flowers. So far we have close to 200 squash. We've frozen some, shared some - and of course eaten many. Our toddlers even ask for more. Very pretty as well as tastey.

Not a single plant sprouted. Very disappointed. The seeds I bought from my local nursery have done great in the same spot.
