Beautiful flower.

The flowers are very attractive and cheerful, similar in bloom to a daisy. They were a little slow to take off, and just began blooming near the end of August despite being in full sun and having plenty of water. The plants more than make up for the long wait with dark green foliage that sets off the blooms.

Planted the seeds and flowers grew to over 6 feet tall was the talk of the neighborhood , was beautiful all summer and fall.

I was happy to see how easy this flower was to grow, and how many seeds it took. The dainty stems support a delicate bright bloom,with a backdrop of deep green, that brightens up the whole area. I am hoping it will keep flowering into fall like its larger relative the Mexican Sunflower.
