Bitter Cukes
Reviewed By: CJ Warren (Goffstown, New Hampshire)
Getting ready to purchase my seeds for this year and saw the comments regarding the burp less cukes.. I thought I had done something wrong. They were horrible, with hard bitter skin. I couldn't believe it, they are usually delicious. I have planting these for a number of years now. Not sure if i should try them again or not..

Early Spring, all Cukes turned out bitter. The skin is absolutely inedible and now with hot weather, the flesh is bitter too. I will never buy these again!

Bitter Early Spring Burpless Cucumbers
Reviewed By: Dwaine Kamnetz (Anoka, Minnesota)
Carefully selecting a mild burpless Gurney cucumber for 2007, we were sverely disappointed with a crop of all bitter inedible cucumbers. Granted we have had a record hot summer but I have faithfully watered. This is the first time that we have had burpless cucmbers that turned bitter like these have.
