Forms a mat of semi-evergreen foliage, 4-6 in. high. Blooms steadily mid to late spring. Thrives even in poor soils. Covers 3 sq. ft. Bareroot. Zones 4-9.

May experience some browning in winter if in a windy, frosty location. In very cold areas plant may die back.
