The gorgeous lavender-blue flowers of the Climbing Blue Angel Rose bloom in late summer on old wood. Blue Angel is exceptionally sweet! Vigorous and dependable, grows 8-10 ft. tall.

Climbing roses are lovely arched over entries, stretched over trellises or twined around pillars. Hybrid teas give you long-stemmed double flowers with lots of velvety petals. Floribunda bloom all summer without pruning, making them ideal for hedges and borders. Shrub roses were bred specifically for cold hardiness and are a real bargain as you seldom need to replace one.

Where are the buds?
Reviewed By: Salena (Princeton, TX)
I got 5 rose plants from Gurneys this spring. Four of them are going nuts, blooming profusely and I just love them! This one is growing beautifully, but no buds...nadda. The others have been blooming for months...not sure what the scoop is. The foliage looks wonderful and it's 4 ft high already, but no blooms. Yes it’s been fed rose food. Maybe the blooms are just slow on this variety? So it gets a 4 stars because it is growing very nicely, but not blooming.

This rose is the sweetest little rose, it fooled me because it starts out a little red and then turns violet Blue. I didn't really want to grow roses because I had no luck with them. This rose really smells great, it's hardy and what a pretty little thing. I would suggest adding this to your collection or if your like me give it a try you wont be disappointed :)
