Bristol is the ideal variety for canners and jelly makers. Firm, juicy berries with a true black raspberry flavor are ready in late June to mid-July for harvest and don’t leak when picked. Upright, 3- to 4-ft. bush is loaded with berries, producing enough fruit for canning, jams and desserts. Extremely hardy and productive—shows tolerance to mildew. Zones 4-8. No. 1, 1-yr. plants.
