Beautiful landscape accent, even in winter! Tolerates sub-zero cold and retains its handsome looks. Dense, silvery-blue foliage, just 6-8 in. tall, spreads to 5 ft. Covers 25 sq. ft. Prefers full sun to partial shade.

Comments: Tolerates heat, drought, and salt air. Thrives in any well-drained location. Color intensifies in sandy soil. Does well in south. BLUE FOLIAGE SHOULD SHOW AT DELIVERY. INCORPORATE GENEROUS AMOUNTS OF PEAT MOSS COMPOST OR WELL-ROTTED/DEHYDRATED CATTLE MANURE INTO THE SOIL. MULCH TO HELP RETAIN SOIL MOISTURE. A SPRINKLING OF LIME IN THE SPRING MAY BE HELPFUL.

great plant for year-round color

This plant is great for replacing lawns on steep banks, etc. It is low to the ground and very thick and colorful. I've seen lots of junipers that are used as ground cover and this one is by far the prettiest.
