We ordered from Gurney's. We only had a 10x10 garden so we grew 4 or 5 plants. There was enough watermelon for my family and neighbors! The Best Watermelon ever! They use a lot of water and we shaded the melons because of the high temperature, some melons "cooked" on the vine before they were ripe.

Large Vines

This melon vine took about a 25 to 35 foot circle of my garden, so you will need room. The melons are large but take a long time to ripen. Late August, still not ripe yet, but large. The plants are very hardy and grow strong all season. Reccommend it as a late season melon as long as you have LOTS of space for it to grow.
