Produces a Bushel of Fruit per Plant
(2 customer reviews)Guinness record holder--342 pounds of fruit from one plant! Better Boy Hybrid Tomato is deep red and meaty, up to a pound each. Dense foliage cover, too. Indeterminate. 75 DAYS. Tomatoes offer so many delicious possibilities-slice them, sauce them, can them, or turn them into salsa! Selection Tip: when choosing varieties, keep in mind that “determinates” ripen over 3-4 weeks on bushy vines that usually need no staking. “Indeterminate” vines continue to grow and produce fruit all season until frost. The large vines need support. Product Details

Reviewed By: Jennifer (Milford, CT) These are the BEST plants ever! Last year I grew Pantano, Early girl, Big Boy, and these Better Boys. These plants outperformed all the other varieties. They even tolerated the wet summer we had last year (although after one heavy week of raid I did treat them with calcium). We harvested several pounds of tomatoes off just one plant! You really get a lot for your money! - Tuesday, December 29, 2009Most for your money! Reviewed By: J.R. (New Haven, CT) You will get the most for your money with these. We grew these last year and we got more than 10 LBS of tomatoes from one plant. Try it, you won't be disappointed. Read More Reviews |
