• Size – Use your best judgment when it comes to choosing a banner size. You need to choose the maximum size banner for the space you have available. You want it to get noticed, but you don't want it to overwhelm the page.
• Color –Choose a banner that will complement your site colors, but also stand out from the crowd.
• Timeliness – Change your banners often, keeping in mind that we update them each month. Fresh colors and new messages will help entice your visitors to keep on clicking. If there is an expiration date on a promotion, be sure to get the banners up when the promotion begins and replace them when the promotion is over.
• Text Links- Text links can be very effective, especially when combined with an individual product link or a logo banner. Text links have the advantage of being easy to change, and are smaller in size. But keep in mind that they do not stand out as well as banners, so make sure they are surrounded by lots of white space and are easy to read.

You can access text links, banners, and individual product images through the “Approved Clients” tab in your Performics account. Just scroll to Gurney's and go to the “Select Action” section. Click on the down arrow and choose "View All Active Links." A new screen will pop up with tabs across the top. Choose the tab of the type of link you want to use, i.e. textual, promotional, product. Click the “Go” button next to the link you want to use.

You will be taken to another screen which will show you the HTML code. Click on the “Highlight” button and then copy the linking code. Now open your Web page and paste the code into your site. Save the file and post your page to the Web.

It is very important that you do not alter the code for your links, images or banners. If you change the coding, your banners and links will not function the way they should and you could lose valuable sales information and commissions.
