Great bloomer Reviewed By: Sue (Webster, TX) I purchased a Jasmine plant a week ago (2/27/11) and transplanted it with half Miracle Grow potting soil and Miracle Grow moisture control soil. No transplant shock whatsoever! This Jasmine plant has sooo many buds and flowers I just can't count them all! It is just a dream come true, the smell is amazing. I water lightly every morning and it is so beautiful. Needless to say I am planning on buying at least two more for my patio. South east sunshine. Not a fussy plant! - Sunday, May 02, 2010Different Jasmines Reviewed By: D. Hofer (Tampa, FL) Perhaps they simply meant that it did not have the strong scent they were expecting. I love jasmine and have two varieties: Winter Jasmine and Confederate Jasmine. Confederate is much more strongly scented. Winter tends to bloom sooner though, so the scent, though delicate, can be enjoyed before the other has flowered. - Monday, December 28, 2009Mrs Reviewed By: kathy (St.Louis, Mo) Your question about Jasmine blooms. One rule of the thumb ,dont over water any potted plants. Let the soil dry up,untill you see the plant leaves drooping, not dry, then water. You will see buds in 1-2 days, This is true with Hibiscus,Gardinea,Jasmin and most of the tropical plants grown inside.
