![]() Miragreen Shell PeasThe Greatest Shell Pea You’ll Ever Grow
(9 customer reviews)Miragreen is a prolific variety that produces loads of dark green pods and will continue to produce for weeks to come. Each 4- to 5-in. pod contains 8-10 plump, sweet peas, enough for canning, freezing and fresh eating. Heat-tolerant, Miragreen peas remain tender and delicious throughout the entire growing season. Vigorous 4-ft. vines require only a support on which to climb. 68 DAYS. Seed counts: A packet of 225 pea seeds sows a 15-ft. row; 1/2 lb. sows a 50-ft. row. "All Gurney's pea seed is now treated." This item ships at the proper planting time for your region in both spring and fall. If the current shipping season is closed, your order will ship at the proper time in the next season. This is my first time of having my own garden and i planted about 40 peas and i have 31 pea plants i planted some in 2 week intervals and i already have pea pods out there and do not know how many of them i have but its a good amount. They grow fast and i do believe i am going to have a high amount of them. Will do another review when its time to harvest that way i can tell you how they taste right now i would say the pods are about 2-3 inches long - Thursday, March 22, 2012miragreen peas Reviewed By: Annette Stone (Columbia Falls, Montana) We have been planting the miragreen peas for the last two years and even living in montana where we have a short season these peas produce large amtounts of sweet tasting peas I was still getting peas the middle of September. we love them I wouldn't plant anyother kind. also Gurneys have a great costumer service dept.
