Misleading Picture

The picture is beautiful...but the bushes aren't. The roses are a dull, off-white color with no yellow. We like white roses too, but they aren't attractive for white roses either.

Even a BAD year can yield roses
Reviewed By: C@  (Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan)
I purchased a V for Victory rose and I didn't have ANY problems with the coloring. I did have it within good proximity to an Arctic Flame, Blue Girl Hybrid, Blue Angel Climbing and a Senior Prom (all roses from this website). The ONLY time I had any problems had nothing to do with the quality of plants but when we had a REALLY bad frost twice in May after I had planted a batch of roses, etc (I re-ordered because I liked them so much) but the frost/cold snap killed a lot of things from my garden. Specific to the first time I planted the V for victory it took really well to the Full Sun spot, and kept blossoming without much help from me (just gave it banana peels and coffee grounds). I heard roses aren't supposed to do much the first year you have them, however all but the climbing rose gave me endless/bountiful blooms.

I ordered two V for Victory Sub-Zero Roses hoping I would have beautiful yellow roses as shown in the picture. I have white roses with a touch of yellow in the center of the rose.
